Right of withdrawal

 

General Information

Pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 206/2005 ("Consumer Code"), the Customer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract, without having to provide any reason and without penalty, within 14 working days from the date of receipt of the products.

The right of withdrawal applies exclusively to consumers, i.e., natural persons who act for purposes unrelated to their entrepreneurial, commercial, artisanal or professional activity. Purchases made by companies or professionals with a VAT number are excluded from the right of withdrawal.

How to Exercise the Right of Withdrawal

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Customer must send an explicit communication of their decision to withdraw from the contract. This communication must be sent within 14 days of receiving the products and can be sent using one of the following methods:

2. Registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt addressed to: Sofia la Maiolica Calatina snc
   Via Balchino 16, bis
   Caltagirone (CT)

The communication must contain:

• Customer's first name and last name
• Customer's address
• Order number
• Date of receipt of products
• Description of the products for which the right of withdrawal is to be exercised

Conditions for Exercising the Right of Withdrawal

• Products must be returned intact, unused, undamaged and complete with all accessories, labels and original packaging.
• The return must take place within 14 days from the date on which the Customer communicated the decision to withdraw.
• The Customer is responsible for any decrease in the value of the products resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Shipping costs for the return are borne by the Customer, unless otherwise agreed.

Refund

In case of withdrawal, the Customer will be reimbursed for all payments made, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from the choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered), within 14 days from the date on which Sofia la Maiolica Calatina snc was informed of the Customer's decision to withdraw.

The refund will be made using the same payment method used by the Customer for the initial transaction, unless otherwise agreed. In any case, the Customer will not incur any costs as a result of the refund.

Exclusions from the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply in the following cases:

• Supply of goods made to measure or clearly personalized.
